Justin trudeau accused of interfering in another criminal investigation

In the latest case of political interference by Justin Trudeau and his Liberal government, this time, to destroy Vice-Admiral Mark Norman.

Since the SNC-Lavalin Affair, Canadians have watched Justin Trudeau and his Liberal government go to incredible lengths to hide the truth, and now it is happening once again. Justin Trudeau continues to show a complete disregard for the integrity of Canada’s justice system.

Mark Norman served as Canada’s Vice Chief of the Defence Staff. He was charged with one count of breach of trust for allegedly leaking sensitive documents related to the procurement of a supply ship for the Royal Canadian Navy.

However, the Crown recently stayed its charge against Vice-Admiral Norman, citing that there was “no reasonable prospect of conviction” in this case. And Norman’s defence team has been clear all along that the Prime Minister’s Office was attempting to direct the prosecution.

This entire case has been politically motivated since day one. The Liberals withheld key documents that would have exonerated Mr. Norman, used code names in email exchanges to avoid access to information requests, and had government lawyers coach witnesses.

The prosecution was clear: the documents that Justin Trudeau and the Liberals were fighting to keep secret were the very documents that caused Vice-Admiral Norman’s charges to be dropped. It’s no doubt there is political interference at play here, and Canadians deserve answers.

Canada’s Conservatives will work to expose Justin Trudeau’s appalling behavior in this case and hold him to account for interfering in yet another criminal investigation.
